Nevada CCW Courses
ZRANGE is a Certified State of Nevada CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon) Instructor. Las Vegas Metro Police Department Approved Instructor.
All of our CCW & CCW Renewal Classes are held at Clark County Shooting Complex Education Center unless otherwise noted. This is for the convenience & safety of our students.
SHOOTING STARS: A Private CCW Training Course – $2,000.00
The “Shooting Stars” CCW training course is for those who want discretion in obtaining their Nevada CCW Permit. The course is designed specifically for both celebrities and business executives. The training is the same as what we offer to the general public. The difference is the course is conducted privately. Because ZRANGE understands that celebrities & executives often have challenging schedules, the “Shooting Stars” training course can either be done in one eight-hour day or two four-hour days. Also, the course can be held at either our training room, your home or office. However, the “live fire” portion of the class must be completed at a firing range, which can be arranged for privacy.
This is an 8-hour course that meets the required guidelines of the State of Nevada and will certify you to make an application with the Las Vegas Metro Police Department for your Nevada CCW permit. The course covers the following:
- Firearm safety
- Maintenance
- Ammunition types and storage
- Different types of firearms
- Nevada law and Federal law concerning carrying of your firearm.
- Types of holsters or ways to properly carry your firearm.
- Training on proper grip/stance/firing of your firearm.
This course will also include “live fire” of your handgun which you must complete to achieve certification of the class. Items not included but are required will be:
A handgun either revolver or semi-automatic (if you are using a semi-automatic at least 2 magazines of ammunition)
Required ammunition of at least 50 rounds
Hearing and eye protection.

Once you have completed the ZRANGE CCW course and receive passing scores on both the written exam and “live fire” you will be certified to make an application with the Las Vegas Metro Police Department for your CCW permit. We do not guarantee your application will be approved. We do guarantee that we are both a Nevada State Certified Instructor, a Las Vegas Metro Police Department-approved CCW Instructor. Once your application has been submitted and you pass the background check and requirements you should receive your CCW permit within the current time limit.
The cost of the ZRANGE CCW “Shooting Stars” class is $2,000.00 Additional person(s) may be added at a cost of $400.00 per person. The Nevada Permit Application cost is not included and must be paid directly to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Applications for Nevada CCW can be found in the “Info” section of our website. ZRANGE would like to thank you for choosing us to be your Firearm Instructor and in appreciation and recognition of your achievement, you will be given a ZRANGE Challenge Coin.
