Armed 75-Year-Old Woman Goes John Wick On Armed Home Invaders In Oakland, CA
I first saw the video about this robbery from Colin Noir who reported the story, I like many of his videos and if you have an interest in firearms, I strongly suggest you check him out.
Quoting Colin Noir “In a brave act of self-defense, a 75-year-old woman in Oakland, CA confronted two armed intruders who broke into her home. The home invasion occurred at 2 a.m. in the Chabot Park neighborhood, and the elderly resident was alone when the intruders forced their way in.
Fearing for her safety, the courageous woman grabbed her .357 Magnum and fired one shot at the suspects. In response, the intruders returned fire shooting 12 shots before making their escape. Thankfully, the woman was not injured, and the suspects fled the scene.
Let me tell you, this 75-year-old woman is an absolute legend. She showed more courage and skill than many men would in a similar situation, facing off against armed intruders. And guess what? She did it with a .357 Magnum, which might not be my first choice, but hey, it did the job just fine!
But here’s the thing, this incident highlights the true purpose of the Second Amendment—the right to protect ourselves and our loved ones. While the media often focuses on the negative side of gun ownership, we can’t forget that firearms are the great equalizer. That’s why the 2nd Amendment matters so much. It gives individuals, like this brave woman, the power to stand up against criminals and protect themselves”.
Everyone has the right to feel safe in their own home, but there are many who think that we should be their victims and continue to allow this sort of behavior to continue. I am certainly not one of them! For all of those who are opposed to self-protection firearms, I hope that they take note, these criminals fired 12 shots at her in her own home! As for the woman, God Bless you Darlin for standing up and protecting yourself!
