What We Do
As a multi-certified Firearms Instruction Company specializing in handgun training for personal protection, ZRANGE offers comprehensive education in Nevada and Clark County for CCW certification. Our focus is on the safe and legal use of handguns, which are primarily designed for personal protection. Proper training in operating and safety functions is crucial, whether you plan to carry a handgun with you or keep one at home, ensuring you are prepared to protect yourself, your family, and your property as a last resort.
How do we do it?
We do this by using applied methods of training from both the United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) and the National Rifle Association (NRA) along with decades of experience including law enforcement. ZRANGE is always creating new courses and methods for training our students. ZRANGE is the first and only Certified Firearms Instruction Company in Las Vegas to have an online educational course called “I’m 2A”. We saw the need for this type of educational training because of the lack of it being available. All of us have busy lives, so we created our educational training courses for those who can’t seem to find the time to train. We took time out of the equation, so you can learn when you have the time and not just when we are available to train with you. Although our courses are detailed, we strongly recommend that you seek out training with a Certified Firearms Instructor in your area. Owning a Firearm is a wonderful way to protect yourself and your family, however, it is still a dangerous weapon and if you aren’t trained properly, it could be used to cause injury or death to someone you love.

Hey there, I am Cam Oliver, the Senior Firearms Instructor at ZRANGE LLC. I have over fifty years of Firearm experience and thirty years of carry experience both in law enforcement and as a private citizen. I am a dual Certified Firearms Instructor with both the USCCA (United States Concealed Carry Association) and NRA (National Rifle Association), 1 of 125,000 in the United States. Although I am both Certified by USCCA & NRA I do not teach either prescribed course. I teach a course using the best of both and practical application based on decades of experience and training.
Those of us who both own and carry a Firearm do it because we know there is a need to be able to protect ourselves and our families. Working in law enforcement, I have had the displeasure of meeting very evil people. I carry a Firearm to protect myself and my family from them. I am an advocate of the 2nd Amendment. The United States of America is 1 of 175 countries in the world that allows its citizens to own a Firearm for protection.
My goal as a Certified Firearms Instructor is to provide you with the knowledge and empower you with a positive experience to continue your journey of being a Firearm Owner. We chose our company motto carefully “I train not to be a hero, but I refuse to be a victim.” I do not ever want you to have to use your Firearm, because using any Firearm is a LAST RESORT.

Aloha, I am Gina Oliver, the Executive Administrator for ZRANGE LLC. For the last fifteen years I have worked for some of the largest Hotels/Casinos in Las Vegas. I am proud that I started in the resort industry at an entry level and worked my way up to management. When Cam got injured and we both knew he would never go back to work or at least not to any position he would want. I encouraged him to become a Certified Firearms Instructor. We decided to form our company as a Women’s Minority Business, as I will be handling the administrative business responsibilities and Cam will focus on Firearm training and gun safety courses.
While we are somewhat smaller than other similar companies, we are totally family (Ohana) owned and operated as well. One of the things that I have enjoyed the most since starting our business is meeting and making friends with so many of our students. It is important to us that no matter how large our company grows we want to maintain a sense of being a family-owned business. We want our students to feel they can contact us anytime, get advice or to simply just stay in touch with us as friends. Mahalo

Hello, I am Martin Urcino, I am the newest member of the ZRANGE Certified Firearm Instructor team. I am a Nevada State Firearms Instructor, a Las Vegas Metro Police Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) Instructor and a Certified United States Concealed Carry Firearms (USCCA) Instructor. I have ten years of Firearms experience and have come to appreciate the experience of being a Firearm owner as a Certified Firearms Instructor. I have always had a powerful desire to help others which is why being an instructor is a natural life choice for me. One of the many courses I will be teaching is a Spanish language CCW course in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am so excited to be part of this, a training course that has been overlooked by others for so long. I intend on expanding my certifications to become a more advanced Firearms Instructor not only for my students but for myself as well.
